Ghostsfacer (who you should follow) was talking about body positive Friday and I wanted to join in unconventionally.
When I was a kid, I was told I had cp, it’s now been determined to be a simple brain malformation resulting in atypical muscle growth and motor control. I wore knee high orthotics until I was 10 and still limp along with left hand issues.
My friends tell me they don’t notice, but they’ve all asked why I walk on my toes before. I’ve had body image issues due to asymmetry and my biggest shame was my legs. I’m not scared anymore.
I love my body because I wouldn’t be me. Be positive about who you are.
